National Trucking Week is here, and it’s time to recognize the invaluable contributions of the 400,000 Canadian men and women who keep our country moving. Launched by the Canadian Trucking Alliance (CTA) and celebrated across the nation, this week (running from the first Sunday in September to the following Saturday) is dedicated to shining a spotlight on the people who ensure our goods are delivered safely and on time.
Trucking is the backbone of Canada’s economy, ensuring that everything from food to essential goods makes it to its destination. Every day, truck drivers and industry professionals go above and beyond to keep the supply chain running smoothly, despite long hours on the road, challenging weather conditions, and the ever-present responsibility of keeping our roads safe.
This year, as in years past, provincial trucking associations, carriers, and industry suppliers are celebrating with special events, promotions, and activities. From BBQs and breakfasts to giveaways and truck washes, businesses across Canada are expressing their gratitude to the trucking industry professionals who make it all possible. At truck stops and roadside inspection stations, the camaraderie and appreciation for the work of truckers are palpable, as communities come together to thank those who go the extra mile.
At Breadner Trailers, we want to give a special shoutout to our incredible team, whose dedication and hard work are the foundation of our success. To our drivers and shunters—John, Brad, Julian, Chris, and Simon—thank you for your commitment to delivering the highest quality service to our clients. You are the backbone of what we do, and your effort does not go unnoticed.
So, during this National Trucking Week, let’s #ThankATrucker and celebrate the hardworking men and women who make life easier for all of us. Whether you’re driving a truck or supporting the industry behind the scenes, this week is for you. You keep our wheels turning, and we are grateful for all you do.
Let’s continue to celebrate the trucking industry this week, and every week!
